Hello world!

Hello World was the default name of the very first post in WordPress, and I think it actually expresses what I wanted to say pretty well)) So I am leaving it as it is, HELLO WORLD!

When I finished my studies I still wasn’t 100% clear about my career path. I had some ideas, but nothing solid. Gradually though, things just started to fall into place. I studied psychology and theology, during which time I did a lot of hospitality work to pay the bills (and… Saturday nights out of course). I worked in bars and nightclubs covering a lot of late night bar shifts, as a hostess at private events and even started working for an events company where I was hosting and co-ordinating a lot of events. I realised I liked people and enjoyed working with people. Often at events I would spend a lot of time chatting with guests, making sure they were relaxed and enjoying themselves. But most importantly, I asked them about themselves and about their life and took an interest in their lifestyle.

All this time, I was using various online dating services (A LOT). I tried the usual Tinder & Match, but found I really enjoyed speed dating too. A lot of my weekends would be spent going speed dating and to other singles events with friends. We would discuss the events at length afterwards. We were developing strategies on how to best make those events work for us and how to identify “the one” – or at least somebody who could evolve into being “the one”. I took the lead quite a lot and we would go through what we were wearing, what we would drink, what we would say.

I was helping the girls to write their online profiles and choosing their photos. And it worked. They were getting more interest in their profiles and found themselves in quite high demand.

I was using sites like MySingleFriend to help my friends meet guys. It was fun and it eventually led me to my Eureka moment!

Now, here we are. I’ve got my blog up and running giving dating & lifestyle advice and ready to just build up my profile while creating a business plan.

This is going to be fun.
